00...... Raising vehicle with trolley jack (vehicle equipped with jacking point)

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 BMW X5, 2005 BMW X5, and 2004 BMW X5. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
WARNING: Vehicles without jacking points (located in the middle of the front axle carrier) must not be raised or moved with the trolley jack!
Use only BMW-distributed/approved trolley jacks which have rubber plate contact points.
Trolley jacks must be regularly serviced and always checked for functional reliability before they are used!
To prevent the vehicle from slipping off the trolley jack, check the rubber plate for damage prior to each use.

Raising vehicle at front:

If necessary, remove front spoiler/spoiler lip.

Slide trolley jack under vehicle at front middle until the rubber contact plate is situated below the jacking point.

Raise vehicle with trolley jack.
