Removal & Installation

- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING SYSTEM under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM. Move right front seat fully forward.
- Disconnect seat occupancy detection control electronics harness connectors. See Fig 1 . Unlock catch and remove control electronics in direction of arrow (to right) from seat frame.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Activate air bag system. See ACTIVATING SYSTEM under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
