61 71 061 Replacing (Removing and Installing) Fluid Reservoir for Windscreen Washer Unit

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove level switch . See 61 31 492 REPLACING (REMOVING AND INSTALLING) LEVEL SWITCH FOR WINDSCREEN WASHER UNIT
- Remove windscreen washer pump . See 61 71 100 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING WINDSCREEN WASHER PUMP
- If necessary, remove washer pump for headlight washer system. See 61 67 010 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING WASHER PUMP OF HEADLIGHT WASHER SYSTEM
Release screws (1) on fluid reservoir for windscreen washer unit.
Release screw (1) and remove fluid reservoir for windscreen washer unit (3) in direction of arrow.
Detach filler hose (2) and remove fluid reservoir for windscreen washer unit (3).
Installation:
- Replace strainers on washer pumps
- Coat sealing rings of washer pumps with antiseize agent
- Lay lines of washer pumps without kinks and clip into holders on fluid reservoir
- Fill fluid reservoir
