61 62 030 Removing and installing/replacing wiper arm on rear window

Spread internal catches (2) as illustrated and remove cover cap (1) in direction of arrow.

Catches (1) and mounts (2) of cover cap (3) must not be damaged.

Set wiper arm (1) upwards.

Release nut (2) and remove wiper arm (1).

Installation: 

1. Observe tightening torque. Refer to GENERAL ELECTRICAL SYSTEM - TIGHTENING TORQUE .

Installation 

1. Wiper motor must be in end position.
2. Adjust measurement (A) between wiper arm and rear window edge.
3. Measurement (A): 12 mm
