51 43 252 Removing and installing / replacing trim panel for rear left or right roof pillar (D-pillar) (touring)

Remove flap in trunk trim panel, refer to REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FLAP IN TRUNK TRIM PANEL, LEFT OR RIGHT (TOURING)  .

Release screws (1).

Unclip clips (2) at top.

Disconnect plug connection for trunk light (3).

Detach panel (4) from panel (5) towards top and remove.

Installation: 

1. If necessary, replace defective clips (1).
2. If necessary, replace damping straps (2).

Replacement only:

Remove trunk light (3) and protective cap (4) of panel (5).
