Necessary preliminary tasks:

• Remove bumper. See 51 11 000 Removing and installing complete front bumper (from 10/01) 

Loosen screws (1).

Pull bracket forwards out of T-guide (2).

Installation: 

Feed inner bracket (1) into T-guide (2).

Loosen screws (1).

Detach bracket to middle from metal fold (gently pull downwards if necessary).

Installation: 

1. Level for placing on metal fold
2. Level for subsequent clipping in of bumper
