Necessary preliminary tasks:

• Remove complete front bumper.51 11 000 Removing and installing complete front bumper (from 10/01) 

Unhook catches (1) on grill (2) on left/right and press forward a little.

Unhook grill (1) from catch (2) and remove on left/right from bumper (3).
