61 62 130 Removing and installing/replacing water reservoir for rear window washing system

Remove flap in trunk trim panel on right, refer to 51 47 172 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FLAP IN TRUNK TRIM PANEL, LEFT OR RIGHT (TOURING) .

Remove sound insulation. See 51 48... REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING SOUND INSULATION IN REAR DOOR, LEFT OR RIGHT

NOTE: Empty water reservoir for rear window washing system.

Unfasten plug connection (1). Detach filling channel (2) and hose (3) with angle section. Release nuts (4) slightly. Release nut (5) and remove reservoir.

Installation:

Make sure hose (3) is laid without kinks after installation.

Replacement:

Fold down windshield washer pump (1) and pull out.

Installation:

Coat sealing ring with anti-friction agent.
If necessary, replace sealing ring.
