E46 - Adaptive Headlights (AHL), Diagnostics: Notes

Please note the following when performing diagnostics on the adaptive headlights:

• Switch-on conditions for the indicator lamp
• Fault reported by customer: "Large sweep and then nothing".
• Fault reported by customer: "No adaptive headlights at (e.g.) 80 km/h"
• AHL control unit diagnostic mode
• List of malfunctions for adaptive headlights
• Diagnostics on bi-xenon lights
