WARNING: Scalding hazard! Only perform these tasks after exhaust system has cooled down.

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

If necessary, support exhaust system with special tool 31 2 220.

Release screws (1).

Installation: 

Tightening torque, see EXHAUST SYSTEM - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Unscrew nuts.

Unscrew nuts.

Remove catalytic exhaust gas converters with center muffler.
