11 37 035 Removing and installing/replacing left eccentric shaft sensor (N62)

(cylinder bank 5 to 8)
Remove left cylinder head cover .
Unfasten screws.
Remove eccentric shaft sensor (1).
Installation:
Read out fault memory of control unit of Digital Motor Electronics (DME).
Check stored fault messages.
Rectify faults.
Now clear the fault memory.
