51 34 211 Replacing rubber guide for rear left or right door window

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove cover on inside of door window frame, see 51 34 160 Removing and installing/replacing housing cover front left or right door window frame .
- Remove inner window cavity cover strip, see 51 22 351 Replacing window cavity seal on inner left or right rear door .
IMPORTANT:
The "Instructions on fitting window guide seals" serve as the basis for this repair instruction and must be observed without fail, see 51 00... Notes on fitting window guide seals .
Pull rubber guide (1) at side out of window guides.
Feed rubber guide (1) at top out of window frame.
Installation:
Moisten rubber guide (1) for side fitting with approved anti-friction agent., see 51 00... Notes on fitting window guide seals .
If necessary, retract door window glass approx. 50 mm into rubber guide (1).
Open door window glass and at same time slide rubber guide (1) downwards.
Installation:
Seal (1) must not be damaged or missing.
