Ensure distortion-free installation
Release banjo bolts (1). Seal pressure lines with suitable sealing plugs. Installation: Pressure lines are protected against being mixed up by different thread diameters. Tightening torque, see 37 14 15AZ in 37 14 ELECTRIC COMPONENTS .
Release bolts (1) and feed out guard plate (2) sideways. Tightening torque, see 37 14 19AZ in 37 14 ELECTRIC COMPONENTS .
Release bolts (1) and remove bracket (2) from rear axle carrier. Tightening torque, see 37 14 17AZ in 37 14 ELECTRIC COMPONENTS .
Mark installation position of pressure lines to oscillating motor. Release banjo bolts (1). Seal pressure lines and connections of oscillating motor with sealing plugs. Feed out pressure lines towards rear. Installation: Carry over identification to new component. Pressure lines are protected against being mixed up by different thread diameters on the oscillating motor connection. Tightening torque, see 37 14 18AZ in 37 14 ELECTRIC COMPONENTS .
After installation:
- Fill and bleed hydraulic system. See 32 13 006 BLEEDING POWER STEERING (VERSION WITH DYNAMIC DRIVE) .
- Check pipe connections for leaks.
- Carry out initial DYNAMIC DRIVE operation.
