34 52 535 Replacing a Rear Pulse Generator

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Open housing cover (1).

Disconnect plug connection (2).

Installation: 

Ensure proper locking of the plug connector and proper seating of the cable in the brackets.

Disengage cable (1) along marked lines from holders.

Installation: 

Ensure proper locking of the holders and proper seating of the cable in the holders.

Release Torx socket screw (1).

Withdraw wheel speed sensor (2) from bore hole.

Installation: 

Tightening torque 34 51 3AZ. See 34 51 SLIP CONTROL SYSTEM (DSC)

Clean bore hole for pulse generator and grease with Staburags NBU 12/K lubricating grease.
