41 62 007 Removing And Installing Lower Rear Lid Section

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Open rear lid (1) until screw (2) is accessible (risk of injury by spring tension).

With rear lid in this position, release screw (2) and insert in bore of support (3).

Tightening torque 51 24 7AZ .

Release screws (1) on both sides of vehicle.

Tightening torque 41 62 8AZ .

Installation: 

Screw down rear lid lower section with fitting screws. This dispenses with the need for adjustment after installation.
