54 13 105 Removing and installing/replacing rear water channel

Necessary preliminary tasks

Remove complete glass slide/tilt sunroof.
Remove GLASS SLIDE/TILT SUNROOF COVER AT REAR .

Unlock tab (2) and remove water channel (1) toward the top.

NOTE: 2 springs are loosely connected to the guide for the water channel.

Installation note:

Make sure that the springs are reinstalled on the supports for the water channel.

Removing supports for water channel:

NOTE: Water channel support cannot be removed without incurring damage.

Break out tabs with a screwdriver and lever out support.

Installation note:

Replace water channel support and hook into place.
