51 13 000 Removing And Installing/Replacing Front Grille Center Section

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

• Remove retaining hook from engine hood/bonnet. Refer to 51 23 160 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING ARRESTER HOOK ON ENGINE HOOD .

Unfasten screws (1 and 2).

Remove front grille center section (3) downwards. Refer to 51 13 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FRONT GRILLE CENTER SECTION .

Installation: 

Align front grille center section (3) to engine hood/bonnet and secure with screws (2).

Installation: 

Clips (1) must not be damaged or missing.

Replacement: 

• Remove trim ring (2) for front grille. Refer to 51 13 007 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRIM RING FOR FRONT GRILLE CENTER SECTION .
• Remove trim (3) from front grille. Refer to 51 13... REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRIM ON FRONT GRILLE CENTER SECTION .
