51 32 390 Removing And Installing/Replacing Decorative Strip On Front Left Or Right Door
Necessary Preliminary Tasks:
- Open door window.
- Remove mirror on front door. Refer to 51 16 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING MIRROR ON LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT DOOR .
Lever out plastic rivet (3).
Lever seal (2) out of decorative strip (1).
Installation:
During installation, attach decorative strip (1) first at rear to door edge (4).
Decorative strip (1) must match trim (5).
NOTE:
Start pulling off decorative strip (1) at front (A) and disconnect at rear (B).
Detach decorative strip (1) in direction of arrow.
Installation:
If necessary, replace faulty clips (1 and 2) on decorative strip (3).
