51 12 156 Removing and installing rear bumper trim: Notes

Special tools required: 

• 00 9 317

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove trim on bumper trim, refer to 51 12 080 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRIM ON BUMPER TRIM 
• Remove trim on rear light, refer to 51 13 440 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRIM ON LEFT OR RIGHT REAR LIGHT 

Build date up to 03/2005 only:

• Remove middle body molding, refer to 51 12 432 Replacing central body molding on rear bumper 

Release screws (1 and 2) on left/right.

Unscrew nuts (2).
