E60, E61, E63, E64, E87, E90 - Yaw-Rate Sensor

Installation location 

The yaw-rate sensor is connected by plug-in contacts to the motherboard of the Car Communication Computer. The yaw-rate sensor is secured to the housing with a screw.

Construction

The illustration shows the example of the sensor on the E60.

How it works 

The yaw-rate sensor delivers data concerning changes of direction (yaw rate) of the vehicle.
