Condition Based Service Characteristics

CBS data are updated in the vehicle key within a driving cycle. A driving cycle is defined by:

• Terminal 15 ON and car exceeds an upper speed threshold of 50 km/h and drops below a lower speed threshold of 30 km/h
• New update when: a distance of 10 kilometers has been exceeded and speed thresholds have been exceeded

In addition, a hidden service function can be used to update the CBS data on the vehicle key:

• Insert key in ignition => Press and hold central locking button => switch terminal 15 ON
