51 16 201 Replacing storage compartment

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove storage compartment
• Remove centre armrest carrier
• Remove cup holder mounting
• Remove controller
• Remove servodrive for storage compartment
• Remove button unit

Pull off trim (1) on left/right in direction of arrow.

Release retainers (1) and remove trim (2).

Feed cable (3) out of storage compartment.
