51 21 280 Removing and installing or replacing door stop on left or right front door

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

• Close door windows.
• Remove sound insulation in front area only. Refer to 51 48 060 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING SOUND INSULATION IN LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT DOOR .

Lever out seal (1).

Unfasten screws (2 and 3).

Remove door brake (1) via cutout (2).

Installation: 

Following parts of door brake (3) must not be damaged:

• Hinge.
• Thread.
