51 13 280 Removing and installing trim strip on roof frame at left or right

NOTE:

Special Tools Required:

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Lever out trim strip (1) with special tool 00 9 321 at rear first. Unclip trim strip (1) up to front and pull out of seal (2) towards rear.

Installation:

Catches (1) of clips (2) must not be damaged.

If necessary, replace clips (2).

Installation:

Following parts of trim strip (3) must not be damaged or missing:

1) Seals.

2) End piece, front.

4) Spacer.

Installation:

First push trim strip (2) at front into seal (1), clip in at rear flush with edge (3) and then clip in remainder.
