51 32 170 Removing and installing/replacing door window glass, front left or right

Remove acoustic insulation on front door. Refer to 51 48 ... Removing and installing/replacing acoustic insulation on left or right front door .

Connect switch for power window lift.

Open door window glass (1) up to measurement (A), approx. 250 mm.

Disconnect plug connection (3).

Release screws (2).

Unhook door window glass (1) from window lift and turn.

In this position, lift holder (2) out of door window glass (1) and remove.

Lift out door window glass (1).

Installation: 

First slide door window glass into door and then attach holder.

Fitting holder on door window glass (5):

1. Plastic plate, rear/outer
2. Metal plate, rear/inner
3. Threaded plate, front/inner
4. Plastic plate, front/outer

Adjust door window glass. Refer to 51 32 154 Adjusting left or right front door window .
