51 47 080 Removing and installing/replacing trim on B-pillar on left or right

Remove cover strip at front entrance. Refer to 51 47 065 Removing and installing/replacing finishing strip at front left or right entrance .

Remove door detent (1).

Release expansion rivet (4).

Lever out mucket (5) and seal (6).

Lever out trim (2) on B-pillar from cover strip (3) at entrance and remove.

Installation: 

Following components on trim (1) of B-pillar must not be damaged or missing:

Replacement only:

Detach transportation protection for guide (4).
