65 82 010 Removing And Installing (Replacing) Control Display

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

• Disconnect battery negative lead. Refer to 61 20 900 DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY .
• Remove wood trim on instrument panel on right. Refer to 51 45 366 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING WOOD TRIM ON RIGHT .

Release screws (1).

Remove control display (2) in direction of arrow.

Unlock plug connection behind and disconnect.

Remove control display (2).

Installation: 

Guides (1) of control display (2) must be exactly seated in mountings of instrument panel.

Replacement: 

Carry out coding/programming. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROGRAMMING/CODING .

Observe following IDC specifications:

• Programming.
• Coding.
• Car & Key Memory.
• CD "CIP".
