51 12 432 Replacing Central Body Molding On Rear Bumper
NOTE:
For Special Tool identification, see MAINTENANCE AND GENERAL INFORMATION - SPECIAL TOOLS .
Special Tools Required:
- 00 9 321
Necessary Preliminary Tasks:
- Remove both side body moldings. Refer to 51 12 435 REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT BODY MOLDING FROM SIDES OF REAR BUMPER .
Unclip body molding (1) with special tool 00 9 321.
Remove body molding (1) and if necessary disconnect plug connections.
Replacement:
Version with PDC:
Remove ultrasonic transducer.
Remove holder (1).
Version with Chromeline:
Release catches (2) and remove chrome trim from body molding.
