51 16 180 Removing And Installing Center Console Carrier Section

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

• Remove center armrest (front). Refer to 51 16 195 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CENTER ARMREST (FRONT) .
• Remove side decorative trims. Refer to 51 16 175 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING DECORATIVE TRIMS (ALL) ON FUNCTION CARRIER .

Release screws (1) on left/right.

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Unscrew nuts (2).

Raise center console carrier section (3) in direction of arrow and pull out.

Installation: 

Make sure cables are correctly routed.

Installation: 

Make sure air ducts (2) are correctly seated on center console carrier section (1).

Installation: 

Feed guides (1) into mounts (2).
