51 41 065 Removing And Installing/Replacing Wooden Strip On Left Or Right Door Trim (Front)

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Release screws (1) on wooden strip (2).

Installation:

Tightening torque, refer to 51 41 5AZ in BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Lever wooden strip (1) out of door trim (4) as follows:

At rear lever guide (2) in direction of arrow out of mounting (3).
At front pull off in direction of arrow from door trim (4).

Installation:

Insert guides (2) of wooden strip (1) correctly into mountings (3) of door trim (4).

Installation:

Following parts of wooden strip (5) must not be damaged:

Guide (rear).
Bracket.
Spacer.
Guides (front).
