51 47 151 Removing And Installing/Replacing Left Luggage Compartment Wheel Arch Trim

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

• Remove trim for tail panel. Refer to 51 46 050 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRIM FOR REAR PANEL AT TOP .
• Remove flap in luggage compartment trim panel on left. Refer to 51 47 172 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FLAP IN LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM, LEFT OR RIGHT .

E66 With Rear A/C System Only: 

• Remove luggage compartment partition wall. Refer to 51 47 141 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING PANEL FOR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT PARTITION .

Lever out trim (1) in lashing eye at opening and remove.

Release screws (2) and remove lashing eye.

Release expansion rivets (1).

Lever out luggage compartment wheel arch trim (2) from seal (3) and remove.

Installation: 

Frame (1) must be correctly clipped into place on luggage compartment wheel arch trim (2).
