Switching Off The Engine

The vehicle engine is switched off when the vehicle is stopped and the start/stop button is pressed.

If the start/stop button is pressed for longer than 2 seconds, the vehicle engine is switched off and then the key is automatically released and pushed out with spring pressure ("convenience off").

After the vehicle engine is switched off, the CAS is in KL "R" (operational readiness for windshield wipe, radio, airbag).
