51 24 065 Removing And Installing/Replacing Bowden Cable For Manual Rear Lid Unlocking (From 03/2005)

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

• Remove panel for rear lid at bottom. Refer to 51 49 005 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRIM FOR LOWER REAR LID .

Detach Bowden cables (1 and 2) from rear lid lock.

Lever out expanding wedge (3) and detach guide (4).

Feed Bowden cable (2) out of Bowden cable (1) and guide (4) and remove.
