51 32 211 Replacing Front Left Or Right Rubber Guide For Left Or Right Door Window

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

• Remove front door window glass. Refer to 51 32 170 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING DOOR WINDOW GLASS, FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT .
• Remove decorative strip from window frame at front. Refer to 51 32 390 REMOVING AND INSTALLING /REPLACING DECORATIVE STRIP ON FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR .
• Remove mirror. Refer to 51 16 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING MIRROR ON LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT DOOR .

Remove sound insulation (1).

Release rivets (1).

Pull rubber guide (2) out of window guide.

Remove rubber guide (2) from window frame.

Installation: 

Moisten rubber guide (2) with water before fitting.

Insert rubber guide at front/bottom into window guide rail.

Installation: 

Sound insulation (1) must be fitted and must not be damaged.

If necessary, replace defective sound insulation (1).
