51 11 158 Replacing Baseplate For License Plate

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

• Remove both front protective strips. Refer to 51 11 170 REPLACING BODY MOLDING FOR LEFT OR RIGHT BUMPER .

  Release screws (1).

  Unclip baseplate (2) towards front.

If Replacing Version With Chromeline: 

Release catches (1) and remove chrome trim from baseplate (2).
