51 72 000 Replacing Mucket For Left Or Right Front Door

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

• Remove front entrance cover strip. Refer to 51 47 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING ENTRANCE COVER STRIP, FRONT (INSIDE) LEFT OR RIGHT .

Release screw (1).

Remove ventilation grille (2) from B-pillar (3).

Detach mucket (1).

Installation: 

Muckets (1) for left and right sides are identical parts and are distinguished by OR/OL markings.

• OR marking for right side.
• OL marking for left side.

Attach mucket (1) with OR or OL marking starting in area "A".

When installed, the location of joint of mucket (1) must be in area "B".

Pull off mounting cord starting in area "B".
