51 43 148 Removing and installing or replacing trim on left or right door pillar (top)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove panel for door pillar (bottom), refer to 51 43 150 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING TRIM FOR LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR PILLAR (BOTTOM) 
• Remove decorative strip on panel for door pillar, refer to 51 43... REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING DECORATIVE STRIP ON PANEL FOR LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR PILLAR 
• Release seatbelt screw on seat belt at bottom

Release expander rivets (1) on panel (2).

Detach panel (2) in direction of arrow.

Feed out seatbelt strap (3).

Installation: 

Following parts of trim (4) must not be damaged or missing:

1. Guides
2. Belt finisher strip
3. Fixtures for expansion rivets
