Axle Carrier: Installation
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Position stop plates (1) on 4 rubber mounts. See Fig 1.
- Stop plates with threaded pins (1) must be installed in rear direction of travel. Threaded pins must be aligned in vehicle longitudinal direction. Damaged threads in body-side bushes can be repaired with Helicoil- 12 x 14 x 18 mm thread inserts. Thread inserts must be installed so that they are flush with original thread. See Fig 2.
- Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

- The lug (1) must lie in the recess of the wheel carrier hole. See Fig 3.
