63 99 002 Replacing halogen bulb for high-beam headlight on left

N62 only:

Release screws (1).

NOTE: Make sure cover caps (3) and (4) are firmly seated.

Lay equipment carrier (2) to one side.

Up to 10/2003:

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Turn bulb holder (2) approx. 45° in direction of arrow and remove.

Remove bulb.

From 10/2003:

Press catch (1).

Fold back cover (2) and remove.

Installation:

Make sure seal of cover (2) is correctly seated.

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Press locking clip (2) and expand.

Remove bulb (3).
