11 62 060 Removing and installing/replacing left exhaust manifold (M62/N62): Notes

(Cylinder bank 5 to 8)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove reinforcement plate. See FRONT AXLE SUPPORT
• Remove exhaust system. See EXHAUST SYSTEM - REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS .
• Remove front propeller shaft. See PROPELLER SHAFT - REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS .

Release screw connection at exhaust manifold.

Feed out exhaust manifold towards bottom.
