51 43 ... Removing And Installing/Replacing Trim On Rear Seat Backrest Side Section (Coupe)

Lever out cap (1) with special tool 00 9 318 (universal wedge) towards inside.

Lever connecting link (1) out of mount (2).

Pull cap (1) off connecting link (2).

Installation: 

  1. Fit two sealing rings (1) in each case on connecting link (2).

Slide seatbelt strap (1) to one side.

Press split pin (2) down and pull out expansion rivet (3) towards top.

Lift out trim (1) towards front and feed outwards from connecting link (2).

Installation: 

  1. Guide (1) on trim (2) must not be damaged.

Installation: 

  1. To improve installation, remove cover (2).
  2. Unlock catches (1) and detach cover (2) from trim (4).
  3. Do not damage guides (3).
