Axle Carrier Rubber Mounts: Installation

1. Coat NEW rubber mount with Circolight. Arrows (1) must point in longitudinal direction of vehicle. See Fig 1.
2. Pull in rubber mount firmly home with special tool (33 4 152/153/154/155). See Fig 2.
3. The rubber-coated detent plate (2) must be installed at the rear in the driving direction. See Figure. On M5, a damping disk must be fitted on both front rubber mounts. On all models, tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
4. Raise rear axle carrier into place.
5. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
