84 21 530 Removing and installing/replacing hands-free charging electronics

Saloon/Sedan: 

Necessary preliminary tasks  :

Open side cover for luggage compartment on left.

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Unscrew bolt (2).

Withdraw mounting bracket from guide.

Installation  :

Ensure mounting bracket is correctly seated.

Remove hands-free charging electronics (3) in direction of arrow.

Touring: 

Necessary preliminary tasks  :

• Remove luggage compartment wheel arch trim on left.

Unscrew bolt (1).

Unhook mounting bracket (2) and remove.

Raise hands-free charging electronics (4) on left in direction of arrow and unlock and disconnect plug connections (3).

Lift hands-free charging electronics (4) in direction of arrow out of holder (5).

All: 

Installation  :

Ensure sealing strips (1) are correctly positioned in holder (2).

If necessary, replace sealing strips (1).
