51 21 330 Removing And Installing/Replacing Window Cavity Strip On Inside Front Door (Coupe)

Remove front door trim panel, refer to REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR TRIM PANEL (COUPE, CONVERTIBLE) .

Unfasten clip (1).

Lever out clips (2) and (3) with cover (3).

Installation: 

1. Rib (2) of window cavity strip (1) must be positioned between supports (3) of window cavity strip (4).

Remove window cavity cover strip (1) towards top.

Installation: 

1. If necessary, remove faulty clips (2) from inner door panel and replace.
2. Prior to installation, coat window cavity cover strip (1) with soapy solution (washing-up liquid).
3. Begin installation at front.

Installation: 

1. Bore (1) must not be stripped.
2. Clips (2) on cover (3) of window cavity strip (4) must not be damaged.
