52 26 008 Removing and installing/replacing left or right side section of rear seat backrest (through-loading system) (Coupe)

Remove trim on side section of rear seat backrest, refer to 51 43 ... REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRIM ON REAR SEAT BACKREST SIDE SECTION (COUPE) .

Remove rear seat, refer to 52 26 005 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR SEAT (THROUGH-LOADING SYSTEM)  .

Release rear-seat backrest and fold forward.

To unlock backrest side section:

Press cover in area (A) to one side a little.

Using a screwdriver, press catch (1) downwards and pull backrest side section (2) somewhat towards front.

Pull side section at top (1) and pull out towards top (2).

In event of faulty clip (2):

If necessary, unlock catches (1) on left/right and detach clip (2) from side section (3).

Installation: 

Push guide (1) into bracket (2) and guide (3) into bracket (4).
