54 12 220 Replacing control rail for glass sliding/tilting sunroof, left or right: Installation:

When installing, if necessary insert nipple (2) in tube and secure tube guide (4) with screw.

Press tube guide (1) down a little and remove setting lever (2) forwards out of guide duct.

Slide nipple (1) of drive cable out of guide duct (2) completely.

Push slide (1) for water channel forwards out of guide duct.

Prior to installation, the new control rail must first be disassembled. Adjusting both drive cables for glass sliding/tilting sunroof actuation, see 54 12 265 ADJUSTING BOTH DRIVE CABLES FOR GLASS SLIDING/TILTING SUNROOF ACTUATION  .
