51 11 000 Removing and installing complete front bumper

NOTE: Open hood.

Unfasten left/ right screws and lift out wheel arch finishers (1) from side.

Unfasten screws from impact absorber.

Installation:

Press detent lugs upwards and pull bumper forwards slightly.

Park Distance Control:

If necessary pull bumper forwards slightly and remove connector on ultrasonic converter.

Pull bumper slightly forwards and remove connector (1) from left/right foglight.

Headlight cleaning system:

If necessary pull bumper forwards slightly.

Remove lock (2), pull off hose (3) and push upwards or seal.

Pull bumper forwards with 2nd person.

Installation:

The height of the bumper is adjusted by twisting the socket head cap screws.
