61 35 900 Removing and installing/replacing ringantenna of electronic immobiliser

Unscrew screw.

Press upper section of steering column trim inwards on both sides in areas shown, detach lower section from below and allow it to hang down.

Installation:

Locking unit (1) must locate in the hook (2).

Release screw and raise upper panel.

Remove transceiver module and disconnect plug.

Fig 5: Removing Transceiver Module

Slide in special tool 61 3 300 with flattened end (A) facing ring antenna and lever out ring antenna.
