Replace Wooden Finisher (Ashtray Or Coin Box):

Take out ashtray or coin box insert. Unclip rear panel (1).

Disconnect plug.

Open ashtray and unfasten screws. Tightening Torque, refer to 51 16 5AZ BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES - 740I & 740iL - E38 .

Slide wooden finisher approx. 30 mm upwards to remove from guide and lift out. Unfasten cable from lighting.

Installation: 

Close ashtray and insert cable (1) in the bore.
