Checking The Operation LED Indicators Of The Access Point

If communication between the Diagnostic Head and the DISplus is faulty, the LEDs on the access point may help to determine where the problem is. The indicators operate as follows:

  1. Status LED:  During normal operation the LED flashes once per second.
  2. Serial LED:  Flashes during activity at the serial interface.
  3. Cable LAN connected LED:  "ON" indicates a valid Ethernet LAN connection.
  4. Cable LAN active LED:  Flashes when data is being transmitted via the LAN.
  5. Radio LAN connected LED:  Lights up when there is an established connection between the Diagnostic Head and the access point
